5. Davante Adams vs Kyle Fuller

Davante Adams has rapidly risen into the conversation for best receivers in football. His footwork and route-running make him borderline uncoverable for opposing defenders. He has 35 touchdowns over the last three seasons, and that number would likely be higher if he hadn’t played with Brett Hundley for half of a year in 2017. He’s going to get opposing team’s best corners, and, for the Bears, that’s Kyle Fuller.

Fuller was the seventh-best cornerback in football last year per Pro Football Focus. Despite being just 5’11” and 194 pounds, he plays big and physical with good ball skills as he registered seven interceptions last season. To slow down Adams, he’ll need to get a good jam on him at the line of scrimmage or get help from a safety over the top.

The Green Bay Packers have other playmakers at wide receiver, but none are the proven product that Adams is. Past Geronimo Allison, the position is stocked with explosive big-play receivers that are working on refining their skills. If the Bears do everything to slow down Adams and force one of them to beat them, that could pose some issues. In big games though, the best receivers elevate their play to get to that next level.
