These eight members of the Green Bay Packers could make the Pro Bowl if everything goes right for them in the 2019 season.

The Green Bay Packers are mere days away from kicking off the 2019 season against the Chicago Bears. As they are fully preparing for the season, let’s take a moment and let our minds wander through the season and all the way to the Pro Bowl. Although the Pro Bowl itself is a dying game, it’s still a great honor to be named to the team. Here are eight Packers who could end up with the honors at the end of the season.

Aaron Rodgers

This is an obvious choice, as Aaron Rodgers is one of the best to ever play his position. He’s already made seven Pro Bowls, including last season, and could easily add an eighth to his resume. The biggest key will be for Rodgers to stay healthy. If he can do that, the Pro Bowl is almost a sure thing.

Davante Adams

Davante Adams has turned himself into one of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL. He’s made the Pro Bowl in each of the past two seasons and had a monster year in 2018. He should only improve upon his 111 receptions for 1386 yards and 13 touchdowns this time around. As crazy as that sounds.

Aaron Jones

This is a bit of a wildcard pick, as Aaron Jones has failed to stay healthy in either of his first two NFL seasons. However, there’s no questioning his talent. He has the burst and elusiveness that a lot of running backs lack. If he can show that off and thrive in Matt LaFleur’s offense for a whole season, he could easily earn this honor.

David Bakhtiari

David Bakhtiari is recognized as one of the best left tackles in the NFL, yet it’s a shame he only has one Pro Bowl to his name. That’s crazy and it’s something that needs to change immediately. At 27-years-old, Bakhtiari is in the middle of his prime. He’ll continue to protect Rodgers at an elite level and will get the job done on a daily basis. Give him the honor he deserves.

Za’Darius Smith

The most difficult aspect about Za’Darius Smith’s tenure with a new team will be switching to a full-time role. The Packers didn’t pay him to be a part-time player like he was in Baltimore. However, that transition will also provide him with more opportunities. And expect him to take full advantage of those opportunities in Green Bay.

Blake Martinez

Blake Martinez is all over the field and has averaged 143 total tackles over the past two seasons. If the Packers’ defense takes a step forward, more of their players will begin to get recognition. Martinez will be asked to do a lot, as the only viable middle linebacker on the roster. That increase in responsibilities will pay off.

Jaire Alexander

By all accounts, Jaire Alexander is a star in the making. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in speed, quickness and toughness. He won’t back down from anyone and has the type of mentality one needs to thrive at cornerback in today’s league. He’ll have plenty of opportunities to go up against elite wide receivers in 2019 and prove his worth.

Adrian Amos

Adrian Amos is the Packers’ other big acquisition in free agency and he’ll be asked to shore up the safety position. The Packers have the necessary talent in the secondary, now it’s up to guys like Amos to come in and thrive. If he can come up with a few big plays, he could be in for his first Pro Bowl.
