The Green Bay Packers will win the Super Bowl

When asked this offseason about all the changes that took place and what the Green Bay Packers’ expectations were coming into this season, Aaron Rodgers summed it up best in an interview with ESPN Milwaukee:

"“This is Titletown. We should expect us to bounce back. I expect to, our team expects to. I’m excited about the additions that we’ve made,” Rodgers said. “There’s going to be no excuses this year. We don’t need a grace period. We all expect to get something rolling. And hopefully we can get that rolling and come together as a team and do something great.”"

And he is absolutely right. The Packers have all of the pieces in place to make them a Super Bowl contender.

On the defensive side of the ball they should be able to create consistent pressure with Kenny Clark, Za’Darius Smith, and Preston Smith. They’ve shored up the back-end of the secondary with Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage, while also having a playmaker at corner in Jaire Alexander.

On offense, they have one of the best tackle combinations in the league in David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga. In the backfield they have a dynamic player maker in Aaron Jones and their receiving corps is led by one of the best in the game in Davante Adams. And oh yea, they have Aaron Rodgers under center.

The pieces are all there at key positions, but the two biggest questions are can the defense live up to the hype? And how long will it take the new offense to gel? However, if both of those questions can be answered relatively quickly and positively, then the sky is the limit for this year’s Green Bay Packers team.
