Aaron Jones will have over 1,500 yards from scrimmage

Perhaps the player who will benefit the most from coach LaFleur is going to be running back Aaron Jones. For much of last season, Jones was criminally underutilized averaging just over 11 carries per game and it felt like everybody knew this except the former head coach, Mike McCarthy.

Jones is an ideal fit for the outside-zone running scheme and under LaFleur, we can expect the Green Bay Packers to be a much more balanced team when it comes to running and passing the ball. Which means plenty of more opportunities for Jones.

With the ball in his hands, there is no questioning that Jones is a dynamic runner and has that home run potential anytime that he touches the ball. Last season he averaged a whopping 5.5 yards per carry which was the highest in the entire league amongst qualified running backs.

We should also expect Jones to make an impact in the passing game as LaFleur is a big proponent in getting his running backs involved as pass-catchers. Last season in Tennessee, Dion Lewis was targeted 4.2 times per game and also lined up in the slot or out wide on 48 snaps. Both of which is far more involvement in the passing game than Jones had.

This season we should expect much of the same with Aaron Jones and the results are going to be huge and he is going to be an integral part of their success on offense.
