The Green Bay Packers officially begin their 2019 season this Thursday but before we get to that point, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the upcoming season.

Well, we made it through the offseason and now finally the preseason. Given that the Green Bay Packers have missed the playoffs each of the last two seasons it was a fairly exciting offseason by their standards with all the moves that were made and luckily, they made it through the preseason relatively healthy.

With a new leader on the sidelines in coach Matt LaFleur and revamped defense, even with the changes that have taken place, there are still playoff expectations for this Green Bay Packers team. As long as you have Aaron Rodgers under center that is just the way it is going to be.

However, there are still a number of questions that need to be answered. One of which is how quickly can the offense gel in the new system? And will the changes on defense be enough for them to be a force in this league?

Only time will tell but before we get to week one, I have my five bold predictions for the upcoming season. I do believe that all five of these predictions could realistically happen, they just have varying degrees of likelihood. So without further ado, let’s dive on in!
