The Green Bay Packers kick off their preseason schedule tonight against the Houston Texans, and these are four positional battles to keep your eyes on.

With a number of new faces on this Green Bay Packers team this season, along with an almost entirely new coaching staff led by Matt LaFleur, this is perhaps the most intriguing preseason that we’ve had here in Titletown in quite some time.

With a new coaching staff, it is a time for young players to fight for a roster spot and potentially a new beginning for veterans who struggled under the previous regime.

This has already been a competitive Training Camp for the Green Bay Packers with a number of positional battles taking place. And now in a live game, it gives these players the opportunity to really show the coaching staff the value that they can provide to this team.

In the first preseason game it is tough to know who exactly is going to play and if they do, how much. But with these four battles that I have listed, I’m expecting to see at least a little bit of the players that are involved get some action on the field.

So without further ado, let’s begin!
