Grading Milwaukee Bucks free agent moves on Day 1
The Milwaukee Bucks were busy at the beginning of free agency. Here are the grades to all five of their moves on Day One.
The Milwaukee Bucks had a lot of players to address heading into free agency and they certainly answered most of the questions we had. Within hours of the start of the Moratorium period on Sunday night, the Bucks had re-signed Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and George Hill, traded away Malcolm Brogdon and signed Robin Lopez. It was a busy night, to say the least.
The Bucks scorching start was a trend that vibrated throughout the rest of the NBA. The league was extremely busy with a bunch of players moving all over the place. Never one to miss out, Milwaukee ensured they kept most of the core of their 60-win team together. The lone exception being Brogdon.
Middleton was the big fish and that should keep Giannis Antetokounmpo happy. The Greek Freak is a free agent in two years and Milwaukee will do everything they can to convince him to re-sign. They certainly got off to a good start by bringing back multiple key players.
Although there is plenty of time to sit back and see how the moves play out, everyone loves an instant reaction. Let’s review the moves the Bucks made on Sunday night.
