9. Darren Sharper

Sharper was a beast on the field for the Packers throughout his eight-year tenure. He was originally drafted in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft and was a part of the team that won the Super Bowl. Even though he didn’t start during his rookie season, he still housed two interceptions that season.

Sharper proved to have a knack for finding the endzone despite almost exclusively playing defense. He ended up with 36 career interceptions with Green Bay, five of which he brought back for touchdowns. He was always around the ball and that was one of his biggest strengths as a safety.

He did more than pick off passes as well. He racked up more than 90 total tackles on three separate occasions throughout his Packers’ career. That’s pretty impressive for a guy who’s largely looked at as a finesse player. Sharper’s impact on defense was undeniable and he was a big-time player throughout his time in Green Bay.
