With the 2019 NFL draft now complete, the experts have weighed in and here are their overall grades for the Green Bay Packers draft class.

This was a draft where General Manager Brian Gutekunst made sure to address just about all of the Green Bay Packers positional needs, he just happened to do it in a way that some may consider unconventional.

Green Bay landed a top EDGE rusher, but it was Michigan’s Rashan Gary which few expected. They grabbed a safety but to do so they had to trade up nine spots in round one. Then the Packers added to their interior offensive line, except it was via the guard position in round two, rather than a tackle in the mid-rounds that would move inside as they have done so many times before. And of course, they made sure to get a tight end, it was just in round three instead of round one like many had anticipated.

However, the draft experts thought that the Green Bay Packers had a very solid draft and overall, and they received some very high grades. We won’t truly know whether this was a successful draft or not for a few years, but it is always fun to see what the initial thoughts are. So without further ado, let’s see how the Packers fared!
