Pro: Potential

Gary’s athleticism is well documented. He’s not just a good athlete- he’s one of the best athletes in the history of the NFL Draft. His combination of size and speed is unparalleled. This alone gives Green Bay’s front office hope he can become something special.

Unfortunately, Gary is a raw prospect. He has a lot of room to grow, but it’s not a given he will do so. However, the Packers offer him a great spot to develop into the dominant player he’s meant to be.

The Packers just signed edge rushers in Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith. The duo is expected to carry the bulk of the load at the outside linebacker position in the upcoming season. This means Gary can take his time and develop into an elite player. Even though he may not make much of an impact in 2019, he could end up being the best player in the draft in three short years.
