The Green Bay Packers are about to do their 2019 NFL draft, so I went out and did my final mock draft for them. Take a look at the future in Green Bay.

The NFL draft is finally upon us. The Green Bay Packers go on the clock later tonight. With that, I decided to do one last mock draft. That’s what you do at 1:30 in the morning right? Is it 100 percent realistic based on the past draft picks that the Packers have made? No. Is it what I would do if the board fell the way it did, and I was making the final call? Yes. The Packers have needs at a number of positions, and I went to work to solve those issues.

I got some weapons for the passing game, and I went to work to beef up the trenches. The Packers need to add a future starter at the right tackle spot, and they need to keep the defensive linemen fresh with a deeper rotation. While free agency is a tool to increase your talent in the present, the draft is where you go to get future contributors. That’s what I did in this mock.

If you love it, great. If you hate it and think you can do better, great. Go to The Draft Network to do your own mock and tell me how yours ended up. The bottom line is though that we’re all rooting for Brian Gutekunst to select players that are going to bring another title back to Titletown. I think, if the draft goes something like this, he will have a good shot at doing just that.
