Week 9: At Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers were a pleasant surprise last season. I don’t think anybody expected them to go 12-4. They’re a well rounded football team; Phillip Rivers can still play at a high level while Melvin Gordon and Keenan Allen are some of the best at their respective positions. Not to also mention they have one of the top defensive players in the league in Joey Bosa. Oh, and remember a guy named Casey Hayward? Yeah, me too…

But here’s the crazy thing; I have this weird confidence that the Packers can go into LA and beat this football team. This will be a home game away from home; I’m willing to bet at least 70% of the fans there will be Packers fans. Also, after coming off a disappointing loss at KC, I think they bounce back and surprise people with an excellent offensive performance. Sure, San Diego has a top 10 defense, but I see Rodgers having a big game and and the defense being able to hold off Rivers enough to squeeze out a close win; similar to when the Chargers came to Lambeau in 2015.
