Week 5: At Dallas

This one’s going to hurt to type; only because the Packers have had so much success there the last couple years. Rodgers has single-handedly broken the heart of every Cowboys fan in north Texas at least once. AT&T Stadium had become the Lambeau Field of the South; including a Super Bowl victory and a few chaotic wins (Matt Flynn in 2013, 2016 Divisional Round, Week 5 of the 2017 season).

This year however, and it’s still killing me to say this; I think the Cowboys get their revenge. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not counting the Packers out on this one at all, but chances are this is one they may drop. Ezekiel Elliott is always prone to have a big game against the Packers, or against anyone for that manner. I still think Dak Prescott is average at best, but for some reason he shows up against the Packers every time as well; no matter how bad Dallas is. If a revitalized Randall Cobb racks up a 100 yard game against us, this contributor may actually cry.

Here’s something people forget though; the Cowboys defense was ranked 7th best in the league last year. Their front seven are excellent, and their secondary isn’t the best but can certainly hold their own. Rodgers can very easily carve them up, but since I don’t want to be too biased, I can see Dallas squeaking one out here just to get beat by Green Bay again in the playoffs.
