Week 17: At Detroit Lions

Ford Field has not been a fun place for the Packers since the last week of the 2016 season. Detroit is going to likely play spoiler in this game as they’ll be far out of playoff contention. But in Green Bay’s case, this will be the opportunity to either secure the division or secure a decent seeding for the playoffs.

The Lions will be upset they’re missing the playoffs for the 3rd year in the row, so they’ll play the Packers like it’s the Super Bowl. I just can’t see Green Bay losing this game in this situation. I’d love a first round bye after this game. But if not, I’d still love to see a home playoff game at Lambeau the following week.

So there you have it folks; I have the Packers going 13-3 if they stay healthy and play to the potential that their personnel has to offer. I think this team is really going to turn it around. There’s probably going to be some humiliating injuries and losses that make us sick, but hey, that’s football for you. Assuming they draft well at the end of this week, this is a team that can go back to being one of the powerhouses of the NFL.
