With the 2019 NFL Draft just days away, here’s what a big board consisting of the top 100 players might look like for the Green Bay Packers.

It’s draft season for the Green Bay Packers and the rest of the NFL. We are just days away from the NFL’s annual selection meeting. This time of the year usually leads writers to tell you what prospects they like and dislike.

I am no different, as I put in quite a bit of time watching draft prospects starting around the time the Packers’ season ends. I take into account combine scores, film, and other athletic measurements to make an evaluation of each player.  My evaluations are not perfect, but they are my own.

In addition to this board, I put a Packers-related spin on it. It’s a top 100 with the idea of who the Packers have on their roster in mind. Without further ado. Here is my big board.

No.’s 1-10

Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

Brian Burns, EDGE, Florida State

Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky

Noah Fant, TE, Iowa

Montez Sweat, EDGE, Miss State

Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

Devin Bush, ILB, Michigan

TJ Hockenson, TE, Iowa

Why?: Quinnen Williams earns the distinction of the best player in this draft for me. He’s a finished, polished product that would wreck the middle of opposing offensive lines in Mike Pettine’s scheme. Bosa is EDGE1 even with his core injury that ruined his entire final season at Ohio State. Brian Burns earns the distinction as the best EDGE other than Bosa. I’m not worried about Ed Oliver being “too short” by NFL standards.

The other surprises that likely caught your eye are Noah Fant as TE1 and Devin Bush as ILB1. Fant is a better athlete and someone I believe has higher upside at the tight end position. As far as scheme fits go. If great players don’t fit your scheme, get a new scheme. Devin Bush has better instincts and better production than Devin White. His measurables aren’t that different so I don’t understand why White is a slam dunk better option.
