The NFL draft is just about here and these are three bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers on draft weekend.

Since Brian Gutekunst took over as General Manager of the Green Bay Packers last offseason, we have seen a lot of change in Titletown. The roster from top to bottom is quite different, the coaching staff has been overhauled, and we saw the Packers be incredibly active in free agency.

After missing the playoffs for the second year in a row, all of these moves were necessary. The Green Bay Packers have one of the most talented quarterbacks to ever play the game and he is on the back nine of his NFL career. So if they hope to become perennial Super Bowl contenders once again, things needed to change and quickly.

Gutekunst recognized this and I believe it is why he was so aggressive during free agency, he is trying to maximize Rodgers’ window. And I expect that same kind of aggressiveness to take place at the draft.

Even after months of speculating, no one truly ever knows for certain what an NFL team is going to do on draft night, and the same holds true for the Green Bay Packers this year. When you take an aggressive approach, you may do things that most people wouldn’t expect. So without further ado, these are my three bold predictions for the Packers on draft weekend.
