4.) Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers Thursday, September 26, 2019

An early season litmus test as to where the Packers may rank on the totem pole of NFC contenders. This is a Thursday night game at Lambeau Field against the best team the NFC has had to offer over the last two seasons.

Carson Wentz will bring his exciting offense that includes old nemeses Alshon Jeffery and Jordan Howard. They’re coupled with Zach Ertz, Desean Jackson, and Nelson Agholor.

The Eagles defense is no slouch either. Fletcher Cox is one of the best interior defensive linemen in football. The Packers guard tandem struggled last season. They’ll have some reinforcements in place for this game.

Doug Pederson might be the best coach in the NFL not named Bill Belichick. This will be a great test for new Head Coach Matt LaFleur.  If the Packers can win this game, it will go a long way into establishing that last season is over and there’s a new order in town.
