5. Week 5 @ Dallas Cowboys

Dallas isn’t an elite powerhouse in the NFC, and they don’t present a significant mismatch. However, at home, they’ve had good success against Green Bay in the past, outside of the last two matchups where Aaron Rodgers went supernova on them late to crush their hopes and dreams. The Packers didn’t win in Dallas for 24 years, and that took a colossal meltdown combined with the heroics of Matt Flynn and Eddie Lacy to make it happen.

Green Bay will be coming off of a home matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, so they’ll be getting some extra rest, but this game will still be one they circle on their calendars. If they come into this game 2-2, this can be the game that puts them over .500 on the season. The NFC North figures to be a three-headed dog fight between the Packers, the Chicago Bears, and the Minnesota Vikings. Every win counts.

Dallas has arguably the best running back in the NFL in Ezekiel Elliott, and quarterback Dak Prescott has had some good games against Green Bay in the past. This Packers defense is still a work in progress, so, if they were to come into this game sloppy, it could cause them some problems against a good NFC team.
