The 2019 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday night. That’s one official step closer to the beginning of the Green Bay Packers’ season.
The 2019 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday, April 17th at 7pm central time. Well, at least that was the plan. It was actually leaked a few hours earlier and gave fans a taste of the season to come. We already knew who the Green Bay Packers were going to play and now we know when and where.
Just a tiny bit over one week away from the 2019 NFL Draft, the league built some momentum for the event (as if it needed it) by announcing the opponents each team will face next season. At this point in April, fans are desperate for any semblance of the league and will happily take this moment and run.
It’s incredibly fun to overreact and over-analyze the schedule release. We make predictions on who will win what games even though none of the teams have finalized their roster yet. Still, it’s what fans love to do best.
Pretty sure @KCousineau09 had it all 1st but here’s the Packers sked:

In the spirit of the event, here are three takeaways from the schedule release. These takeaways may not hold true through the entire season, as things change drastically. There’s a reason some people say NFL stands for Not For Long. Regardless, here they are.
