Kofi Amichia (Round 6, 212th overall):  D-

The sixth round was very similar to the seventh round for the Packers. They decided to go with tackle Kofi Amichia out of South Florida and it failed in a miserable way. Amichia was waived and assigned to the practice squad in September of 2017 and spent the entire season there. He was waived the following September and is currently a member of the Baltimore Ravens. The only consolation prize here is that this was another low pick in the draft.

Aaron Jones (Round 5, 182 overall): A-

This was the Packers big hit from the 2017 draft. Jones has been one of the most elusive running backs in the entire NFL and has been a huge bonus for the Packers’ offense. He adds a nice blend of power and quickness into his runs and doesn’t back down from anyone. The only thing preventing this from earning a higher grade has been Jones’ inability to stay healthy for a whole season.

Deangelo Yancey (Round 5, 175th overall): D-

Yancey is yet another player the Packers drafted in 2017 who has failed to appear in an NFL game so far. If you take Jones out of the equation that’s five total appearances by the four picks the Packers made in rounds 5-7. Yancey was waived in September of 2017 and spent the entire season on the practice squad. He didn’t last in 2018 and was waived a couple of times before finishing the year with the New York Jets.
