44th Overall- WR Parris Campbell, Ohio State

In the second, the Packers add a true home run threat and a solid option for their slot. Campbell has impeccable speed and is an absolute weapon with the ball in his hands. He also has the upside to be a tremendous return man.

I get why this pick could be met with some animosity, but at some point, the Packers need to take a chance on a receiver. Campbell is a gadget player similar to what Randall Cobb was in college only Campbell did it better. Rodgers needs a playmaker than can work underneath or out of the backfield and Campbell does just that. He’s a drive extender that can also add creativity to the offense.

His 4.31 forty yard dash at the combine wasn’t an error, either. This guy can really fly and if he puts it all together as a route runner then watch out.
