1. Khris Middleton

Middleton is the Buck’s clear-cut second-best player. He’s played with Team USA and was just elected to his first All-Star team. His peers also recognize him as a legit shot-maker and someone who is the perfect compliment to any superstar.

When he’s on, he can knock down shots from all over the floor. Once a mid-range specialist, he’s worked hard to fit in with Mike Budenholzer’s system and focus on taking shots behind the arc and at the perimeter. However, Budenholzer has been flexible as well and has allowed Middleton to continue to take the shots that made him what he is today.

Middleton’s diverse game is also a huge positive for the Bucks. He can be a secondary playmaker without Milwaukee skipping a beat. He’s got above-average passing skills to go along with his vision.

He’s also been a streaky shooter and he was extremely hot against the Celtics in the playoffs last year. If he can get right and continue to play well down the stretch, the Bucks will be a very tough team to beat in the playoffs.
