3. Malcolm Brogdon

Brogdon will officially finish the season as a member of the 50/40/90 club, a truly elite group. Brogdon has missed the last few weeks with a minor tear in his plantar fascia and likely won’t return until the second round of the playoffs. Brogdon was hurt at the end of last season as well and returned right before the end of the regular season. Unfortunately, he was never able to find his groove against the Boston Celtics in the playoffs.

That will need to be different this time around. Brogdon has taken his turn being the Bucks’ second best player at various points throughout the season. He’s been elite from behind the arc and has shown an improved ability to take his man off the bounce as well.

Brogdon is also versatile on defense. He can guard the one through three, although he’s best suited to defend twos and threes. He gives the Bucks the depth they need in order to take down some of the other best teams in the league. If he can return and quickly rediscover his groove, he’ll play a large role in the Bucks’ postseason success.
