5. Nikola Mirotic

Mirotic was a great late-season addition for the Bucks. Milwaukee acquired him in a three-team trade from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Thon Maker (to the Detroit Pistons) and two second round picks.

He averaged 11.6 points in 14 games for Milwaukee and is now missing time due to a fractured left thumb. There’s hope he can return right at the end of the regular season. That should allow him a few games to rediscover his jumper and his feet ahead of the playoffs.

Mirotic is a terrific outside shooter and can really space the floor for the Bucks. He has DEEP range and isn’t afraid to launch it. In other words, he’s a great fit alongside Antetokounmpo. He averaged nearly 17 points per game with the Pelicans this season and can get hot in a hurry. If he can get healthy, he’ll certainly propel the Bucks in a couple of games this postseason.
