NFL Draft analyst Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports had five Wisconsin Badgers being selected in his most recent seven-round mock draft.

The Wisconsin Badgers football team has a rich history of having players selected in the draft just about every year and then moving on to have productive NFL careers. Since 2010, Wisconsin has had 33 former players that have been drafted, and this doesn’t include the many more that would eventually sign with a team as an undrafted free agent. This year for the Badgers is no different.

Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports has put together his post-combine, seven-round mock draft that includes five Wisconsin players being drafted. While he may not have any of them going terribly high, that doesn’t mean that they won’t have long, impactful NFL careers.

Before we take a look at the mock draft, I want to throw out a few Honorable Mentions, who weren’t selected in this mock draft but could be late round picks or will be signed almost immediately following the draft. Those players are Andrew Van Ginkel, D’Cota Dixon, and Ryan Connelly. All three would be great additions to any NFL roster and although they may not be starters from day one, they will make an impact on special teams and are guys you want in your locker room.

Now, let’s get to the draft!
