Free Agency is in full swing, but the Green Bay Packers are still a draft-and-develop team. Here are some players they could target in April.

It’s a new league year in the NFL and free agency is in full swing. For the Green Bay Packers, that has meant a renewed focus on bringing in veteran talent, with four likely starters being brought in on Tuesday, and the return of Marcedes Lewis on Wednesday. But there is still a bevy of holes in a roster that hasn’t had a winning season in two years. And there’s still one big event that might be more important than free agency just six weeks away: the NFL Draft.

Brian Gutekunst and company made a splash in the early stages of free agency and are likely to make a few more moves going into the Draft, but the annual selection of college talent will still be the Packers main source of player acquisition. The Packers have ten selections currently slated in the Draft, including two in each of the first, fourth, and sixth rounds. To see what the Packers might be able to do, we have two separate Mock Drafts.

The first one is from FanSpeak, using a big board by Steve from FanSpeak, the difficult algorithm, and user-voted team needs. The second one is from the Draft Network, using their predictive board. Let’s see some options for the Packers. Naturally, this isn’t a pure prediction of what will happen over six weeks from now, but just some names to keep an eye on during the three-day spectacle that will shape the NFL.
