1. Safety Adrian Amos

Contract: Four years, $36 million

Trading HaHa Clinton-Dix for Adrian Amos is a pretty sweet deal, isn’t it? Amos may lack Clinton-Dix’s level of playmaking but he’s way ahead as far as tackling. His ball skills aren’t bad by any means with three interceptions over the last two seasons, but yes he’s not a natural ball hawk. Amos is as reliable as they come and he won’t let you down in big moments.

The Chicago Bears won’t admit it but they lost one of their most solid defensive players. Not only could he play deep safety but he could also drop into the slot or sometimes lineup around the line of scrimmage. The best part is he will just be turning 26 in April and will possibly have his best years ahead of him. Even as a fifth-rounder back in 2015, Amos became a starter early on and hasn’t regressed due to injury as he’s started in 56 out of 60 career games.

He’s improved tremendously over the course of four seasons becoming a hard-nosed tackler while remaining consistent in coverage. Amos’ instincts are top-notch and this becomes obvious in his angles to the ball. He is already the best safety on the Green Bay Packers roster and he’s yet to play a game.

Also, consider how Green Bay got Amos for a bargain when comparing his deal to the contracts of Landon Collins and Tyrann Mathieu. Two years from now this could look like a steal.
