Green Bay Packers: Under the radar free agents to consider
TE Lance Kendricks
Not a popular name among Packer fans these days, the Wisconsin native and former Badger was more productive than realized the past couple seasons in Green Bay. He didn’t come close to the numbers he had with the Rams, but as the number two tight end, he was serviceable, and dependable, staying on the field and off the trainer’s table. His versatility and ability to stay on the field could be a big benefit for Nathaniel Hackett and Coach LaFleur.
He also brings a lot of leadership and steadiness to the room with Jimmy Graham and has grown close with his fellow tight ends, as the Packers website notes here. He won’t get the contract he got last time with the Packers, but as a veteran minimum-type of player, he could be a good guy to keep on the roster.
