The Green Bay Packers have a few major needs this offseason, and they need to prioritize them like this when they start free agency this week.

The Green Bay Packers are heading into free agency with a good amount of cap space, and they have a number of holes they can fill with this specific free agent class. They have various needs, but it will be interesting to see how they prioritize those needs. They had a need at safety last year like they do this year, but they chose to ignore that to pursue other needs that they found more pressing.

This team is competitive in every game with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, but they need to add more pieces to support him to alleviate his workload in games where opposing teams scheme to slow him down. They also need to add pieces on the defensive side of the ball so the offense doesn’t have to win 31-30 shootouts on a weekly basis because they’re not going to be able to always do that.

There are teams with a ton of cap space available to them this year, so the Packers won’t be able to swing and hit on every major free agent, but they can add players that fit into their needs perfectly at the right price. These positions may not be the highest needs in your eyes, but it’s likely these will be the highest needs in the eyes of the team.
