1. Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

Nick Bosa is the prize of the 2019 draft and he sits atop most big boards and mock drafts. And this is despite sitting out most of last season at Ohio State. However, it’s because it’s not very often a player with his NFL lineage and skills and abilities comes along.

Bosa combines elite size with elite physical traits as well. He can bully offensive lineman or simply go right around them. He’s also a very polished pass-rusher and has a bevy of moves to get after the quarterback. When you add it all up, it’s simply not fair for offensive linemen who are asked to block him.

Bosa would step in for the Packers and immediately give them the defensive playmaker they’ve been missing since their Super Bowl in 2011. Green Bay got a first-hand experience about how one defensive player can change the game when they played the Chicago Bears in Week 1. Khalil Mack took over that game until Aaron Rodgers eventually saved the day. Regardless, Bosa could be the Packers’ Mack and allow the unit to climb to new heights.
