2. Secure home-court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs

If the Bucks can get to 60 wins, they’ll have a very good opportunity to have home court advantage throughout the entire Eastern Conference playoffs. There were no 60-win teams in the East last year with the Raptors finishing with the conference’s best record at 59-23.

Home court would be a huge accomplishment for a franchise who hasn’t been a top-four seed since the 2000-01 season. Not coincidentally, that was also the last time Milwaukee won a playoff series. Fortunately, both should happen this season so the Bucks can bury that hatchet and move forward.

The Fiserv Forum has been lit for Bucks games all season long and the fans would surely show out come playoff time. The extra energy the fans insert into the arena would go a long way to helping provide this Bucks’ team with a spark when they need it. Home court advantage is not only possible, it’s probably for the Bucks.
