J’Mon Moore, WR (Round 4, 133rd overall): D+

It’s very early for Moore, but he has the foundation of being a flop already started after his rookie season. Moore was quickly passed by Valdes-Scantling and St. Brown on the depth chart, as they racked up playing time with Moore on the bench.

On the season, Moore appeared in 12 games, but almost all of them were as a kick returner. He had four kick returns for an average of 25.5 yards. Nothing spectacular. What did stand out, however, was his lack of production for the offense. The fourth round pick failed to haul in a reception during his rookie season and will head down that track once again in 2019.

With Geronimo Allison returning from injury and the Packers likely adding another receiver at some point, Moore is likely behind the eight-ball. He better improve his game quickly if he wants to stick around. The good news is he has the best physical attributes on the team and could head down a similar path Davante Adams did when he began his career. They both struggled with drops and the hope is Moore can be Adams 2.0 someday.
