Kendall Donnerson, Edge (Round 7, 248th overall): C-

The last player the Packers drafted, Donnerson, earns an above-average grade despite not being active for any games throughout the season. Despite the lack of playing time, he managed to stay on the practice squad and then the roster for the final four games which is a feat in and of itself for a seventh-rounder.

Donnerson plays outside linebacker, a position of need for Green Bay. He has great athleticism and just needs a lot of fine-tuning in his skill set. The Packers must’ve seen something in him to keep him around which is a good start for Donnerson.

Hunter Bradley, LS (Round 7, 239th overall): C

Using a draft pick on a pure long-snapper seems like a waste (even a seventh rounder), but that’s what Gutekunst did with Bradley. However, Bradley made the team and was the long-snapper for every game last season. That’s quite an accomplishment. There were some ups and downs, but he shows potential and could provide the Packers with a steady player at the position for years to come.

James Looney, DE (Round 7, 232nd overall): C-

Here’s yet another seventh round pick Gutekunst kept around. It’s unclear if it had more to do with the lack of depth the Packers have, Gutekunst wanting his own picks, or Looney’s talent. Regardless, Looney spent most of the season on the practice squad and was promoted to the active roster on Nov. 24. He appeared in three games, but failed to accrue any stats.
