The New York Knicks have an abundance of point guards following the Kristaps Prozingis trade this week, so they may be looking to shed one.

The Milwaukee Bucks would be wise to look at a young point guard of the future considering Eric Bledsoe is older and a free agent this year. The Knicks would add a decent young big man in Thon Maker, a 2nd round draft pick, and also clear a few more million dollars in cap space for next offseason.

The Milwaukee Bucks still have all the leverage so there is no need to trade Thon Maker. But if the front office thinks we are a player or two away from a finals appearance, then they should trade Maker without hesitation.
