5. Rodger Saff old, Guard

Rodger Saffold is the longest tenured Los Angeles Ram and wants to return to the team following this season. However, if he decides to leave for whatever reason the Packers should be waiting. Green Bay has a big need at guard and Saffold could fill it.

Saffold was drafted in the second round (33rd overall) by the Rams back in 2010 and played his college football at Indiana. He was a second team All-Pro in 2017.

Saffold began his career as a left tackle and a pretty darn good one. However, he began to transition to guard in 2014. He fully acclimated to the guard position in 2016. There were questions about his health, specifically his shoulder, early on his career. Only one time during his first four seasons did he play all 16 games. Fortunately, he’s turned it around and has played in 15 or more games in four of the past five years. He’d plug right in as a starting right guard in Green Bay despite having spent most of the past two seasons on the left side.
