Stud No. 1 – Wide Receiver Davante Adams

After the season he just put together, this one was obvious. Davante Adams was clearly the team’s best and most consistent player, and he was also close to breaking multiple team records. When it was all said and done, Adams finished with 111 catches for 1386 yards and 13 touchdowns. Adams is a legitimate WR1 in this league, and he solidified that case with the year he just had.

When injuries hit the team’s receiving corps hard with veterans Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb missing multiple games, Adams stepped up in a big way by giving Rodgers a consistent target that he could trust on every play. Adams became matchup-proof when it came to who lined up across from him. He saw every opposing team’s top corner every week, but that didn’t matter on his quest for his first 1000 yard season.

Coming into last year, the Packers gave Adams a shiny new extension to lock him up for the foreseeable future. Adams had struggled with health in his career, and there were some that questioned if he were able to truly be a number one wide receiver. However, after moving on from Nelson after so many years, Adams proved that he is more than capable of carrying the mantle for them which gives him the top spot in the team’s Studs & Duds from the 2018-19 season.
