2. Ed Oliver, DL, Houston

Oliver and Bosa have been battling it out for the top spot all season long. Both were projected to be at the very top of draft boards everywhere and they’ll continue that fight up until draft night. For now, Oliver comes in at No. 2 given the Packers’ team needs.

Oliver is a complete force and will dominate the NFL for at least a decade. He’s truly an elite athlete and can disrupt the play on so many levels. The only knock against him is his size at 6-foot-1 and 275 pounds, but his play should put that question to rest.

1. Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

Bosa is the Packers’ dream prospect entering the draft despite having no chance to land him unless a major trade happens. Bosa has a deep pedigree of NFL players including his brother Joey Bosa who currently plays for the Los Angeles Chargers.

Nick Bosa could accrue double-digit sacks the first year he lines up in the NFL, something that scares opposing teams to death. Bosa had 16 sacks last season, but missed significant time in 2018 due to a core muscle injury he suffered. It’s possible he could’ve played in Ohio State’s bowl game, but he chose to sit out in order to prepare for the draft. As long as that injury doesn’t linger, Bosa will be the cream of the crop in the 2019 NFL Draft class.
