8. Jeffery Simmons, DL, Mississippi State

The defensive line isn’t high up on the Packers’ priority list, but at some point talent overtakes need. Simmons is a stud who could give the Packers a terrifying trio alongside Mike Daniels and Kenny Clark.

Simmons is a stud as far as on the field talent goes, but is being held back by his own actions off the field. The Packers will certainly interview him and if all goes well, he could end up being the pick. However, his ability to stay out of trouble off the field will go a long way in determining his NFL career.

7. Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

It’s unclear exactly what the Packers will do with right tackle Bryan Bulaga. They reportedly tried to persuade him to agree to a lesser contract last offseason, but Bulaga didn’t bite. Will they try to do the same in 2019 or will they just cut him outright?

Regardless of the outcome, Williams could be the future right tackle for Green Bay. There are some rumors of Williams moving inside to guard which could be okay as well. However, he’s the best pass protector in the draft and that’s what the Packers love to do. Sounds like a good fit to me.
