2. Randall Cobb

Randall Cobb has been one of the biggest disappointments in Packers’ history. He was a stud the first few years in the NFL and was booming with potential. Following a breakout season, he signed a lucrative deal with Green Bay and the pair looked for his success to continue.

Unfortunately, the opposite happened.

Cobb has struggled with injuries this season and lost his burst a while ago. Despite still being in his 20’s, Cobb looks like a player who is much older and in decline. He still flashes a dynamic game (think Week 1 vs Chicago), but is overall inconsistent.

His $12.7 million cap hit will come off the Packers’ books and they could very well invest that money elsewhere. Green Bay has a trio of rookie wide receivers who have flashed potential and could allow Green Bay to cheaply develop them while upgrading other positions.
