5. Nick Perry

Nick Perry may have very well played his last game in green and gold. He’s currently on the injured reserve and won’t return the rest of the season. Even before he was officially put on the IR, Perry hasn’t been himself because of an ankle injury he suffered early in the season.

Regardless, Perry has mostly been a bust since signing a five-year, $60 million following the 2016 season. After this season, he still has three years remaining and you can bet your bottom dollar Gutekunst will do everything he can to move on from Perry.

If the Packers release him following June 1, they can save $11 million in cap room in 2019. That’s a huge motivator for a team who desperately needs upgrades at multiple positions. Sadly, it’s fitting Perry will have missed his last few games with the Packers due to an injury.
