3. Will Grier, West Virginia

Will Grier comes in on the small side for an NFL quarterback. He’s only listed at 6-foot-1, but that could decrease when he’s actually measured at the NFL combine. The short stature doesn’t mean he can’t succeed at the next level, it just means he will have to get creative.

Grier is another quarterback who loves to freelance. His ability to extend plays is both the best and worst part about his game. He can turn make basic plays in spectacular ones or just as equally into awful ones.

Contrary to the rest of the quarterbacks on this list, Grier lacks good arm strength. Instead, he relies on a quick release and short passing game to get the job done. He also does a great job anticipating his receivers coming open and hitting them in stride. That will be where he makes his living in the NFL.
