1. Ethan Happ

Much has been made of Ethan Happ’s ability to shoot from the three-point line, elbow, free throw line or basically anywhere outside of the paint. Some analysts have tried to taint Happ’s overall game because of that inability. However, we should all take a moment to appreciate Happ’s greatness.

Happ is the rare player who makes just as much of an impact on defense as he does on offense. Despite the lack of elite athleticism, Happ has great hands and even better timing. He does a wonderful job of working his way around his man in the post and swiping an entry pass away. He also provides great rim protection and ensures there are no easy baskets.

Next. November will tell us who the Badgers really are. dark

Offensively, he can use either hand around the rim and displays magnificent footwork. His ability to maneuver around defenders in tight spaces and utilize ball fakes is a work of art. He also has great passing ability which makes it dangerous when the opposition decides to double team him. We should all take a moment to appreciate Happ and his unique greatness this Thanksgiving season.
