4. Aleem Ford’s return

Aleem Ford was expected to be a major piece of the Badgers’ rotation entering the season and possibly even a starter. Unfortunately, Ford suffered a knee injury that required surgery at the very end of October and was ruled to be out indefinitely with an expectation of returning sometime this season.

The good news is he began practicing with the team this week and his return could be sooner than later. Although he’s not expected back immediately, the fact that he’s already practicing is a great sign.

Ford has a potential to be the stretch forward Wisconsin desperately needs. He led the team in three-point percentage (40.9 percent) last year and will be another scoring addition for the Badgers. When Ford returns, expect the Badgers to get a huge boost from one of their most talented and athletic players.
