As we approach the Thanksgiving season, here are five reasons why we are thankful for the Wisconsin basketball team and the 2018-19 season.

The Wisconsin basketball season appears to be on the verge of getting back on track and making a potential return to the NCAA tournament. At 4-0, they are off to a good start and have created some nice buzz around the program once again.

That buzz was completely lost during the midst of a losing season in 2017-18. Last year, the Badgers went 15-18 and missed the NCAA tournament for the first time in 20 years. It was a frustrating season overall for Wisconsin who struggled with injuries and subpar play from basically everyone not named Ethan Happ or Brad Davison.

The good news is just about everyone in their rotation returned this season and Wisconsin has some extra swag. Between Happ playing with an edge and Davison revenge gator chomping at Xavier, this Badgers team is going to be tough to play night in and night out.

As the calendar turns to Thanksgiving, we at Dairyland Express are sharing why we are thankful for each of the Wisconsin teams we cover. So, without further ado, here are the five reasons we are thankful for the Wisconsin basketball team in the 2018-19 season.
