1. Giannis Antetokounmpo

Antetokounmpo is a once in a lifetime player for the Bucks. At 23-years-old, he’d already be one of the greatest players to ever suit up for Milwaukee if he retired today. The good news is he won’t be retiring any time soon.

Antetokounmpo is locked into his contract for two more years and will only improve upon his game during that time. Even when he becomes a free agent, Milwaukee shouldn’t have to worry too much about him leaving. He’s publicly declared his undying love for the team and the city on multiple occasions. The Bucks are also showing him what they can accomplish this season and that should be enough to keep him around. Oh, and they can offer him more money than any other team.

Even without a jump shot (and there’s no guarantee he’ll ever develop one), Anteokounmp is an elite scorer. Scratch that, he’s an elite everything. Whether it be defending on the perimeter, swatting shots at the rim, setting up his teammates, running the fast break for dunking on seven-foot monsters down low, Antetokounmpo has a well-rounded game. Antetokounmpo is the biggest reason I’m thankful for the Bucks’ this holiday season.
