2. Modern offense

The Bucks have completely and totally embraced the three-point shot. After ranking near the bottom in three-point attempts in 2017-18, they rank second this season with 40.3 attempts per game. Only the Houston Rockets at 41.9 are above Milwaukee.

This is a welcomed sight for a team that fought off the league-wide trend long enough. As everyone else was beginning to shoot from downtown, Milwaukee, for some reason, went the other direction and took more mid-rangers.

However, this modern offense has opened the floor for players like Antetokounmpo and even Brogdon and allowed them to get to the rim much more efficiently. Even when they aren’t hitting their shots, Budenholzer continues to encourage them to shoot. As the season goes on, Milwaukee will only get more and more comfortable with the offense and will continue to chase perfection.
