2. The Brewers Have Exceptional Synergy Between The Manager, General Manager, and Owner.

Doug Melvin and Ned Yost had a strong connection, so did Ron Roenicke and Melvin. But nothing compared to the bond that has been forged between Craig Counsell and David Stearns. The best duo of manager and general manager in baseball, these two guys seem to be always thinking on the same wavelength as far as player usage and finding the right fit for the team.

Then there’s owner Mark Attanasio. Already an active presence at games, he’s been supportive and stood by his wunderkind GM and manager at all turns, both good and not-so-good. He even works through injuries to be there for his team and has created a wonderful triumvirate with Counsell and Stearns.

With those three locked into the organization for the long haul and the trust they have with each other, the Brewers are in stable shape for the first time in years, potentially the most stable the front office has ever been.
