4. The defense in Milwaukee is second to none.

With four Gold Glove finalists in Christian Yelich, Lorenzo Cain, Travis Shaw, and Manny Pina, and elite defensive talents like Orlando Arcia, and even very good gloves in Jesus Aguilar, Jonathan Schoop and Ryan Braun, the Brewers have plenty of clout when taking the field and helping their pitching staff out.

According to Fangraphs, the Brewers ranked fourth in the majors (and first in the NL) in defensive value added. And that won’t likely change in 2019. They’ll get better and adjust to each other’s strengths, giving the Brewers an advantage few teams have, especially in a home ballpark like Miller Park.
