2019 Early Outlook

The Brewers had their best season since 2011 in 2018. They also could have had their most entertaining team of all-time. They came into the regular season as a dark horse and went into the playoffs as the underdog. And I believe that are going to keep that reputation for years to come.

A lot of writers don’t believe in the small market, but they’ve proved people wrong and I have that feeling that in 2019, they’re going to do the same thing and then some.

Milwaukee is in a good place right now. There are a lot of locks going into next season. For example, shortstop, first base, the outfield and third base. There are also some areas of competition going on. Like for the five spots in the rotation, the bullpen, second base and catcher. This is what this makes this team great.

Competition brings out the best in people. It also shows there is a lot of depth and versatility on this team. And there could be more to come going into 2019. We’ll have some familiar faces, but we’ll also see some new ones come February. Get ready. This could get interesting.

Get ready, folks. It’s Stearns time to shine.
