The Milwaukee Brewers want to continue the momentum they established in 2018. Let’s take a look at what decisions they’ll face in the offseason.

The 28th of October was the last day of the exciting 2018 baseball season. The Boston Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games and the long offseason has just begun. The Milwaukee Brewers had an unbelievable season, going 96-67, sweeping the Rockies in the NLDS and were one game away from their first World Series berth since 1982. Sadly they came just short.

Now with the season ending, it is now time for Stearns to make some offseason magic for this 2019 team.

Last offseason, Stearns made some splashes acquiring Christian Yelich and signing Lorenzo Cain in one day. He also made some under the radar moves, like acquiring lefty Wade Miley who became a key part of the rotation during the season and in the playoffs. And signing key starter Jhoulys Chacin. With Stearns, you’ll think he’ll do one thing, but he does the other. And a lot of the time, it ends up working out well.

Stearns said during a press conference that a lot of the team will be back, but there will be some changes going into next season. The first ones made were to the coaching staffThe Brewers hired Andy Haines as hitting coach, Chris Hook as pitching coach and Steve Karsay as the bullpen coach.

There are a lot of things that are going through fans heads wondering what they can do to take that next step. There are some openings and battles when it comes to positions and there are some players that would look good in a Brewers uniform next season. Here is the Brewers offseason preview.
